Flight by Doris Lessing and growing Up by Joyce Cary ar both short stories that stick out several points which be in contrast with one other and many which ar distinctive to one another. Both of these stories describe the similar theme to the highest degree growing up; both contain an extended emblem; the relationship between the both parental characters and how difficult it is for the two men to let go of their daughters.
